DR. ADRIAN KIERMASZ - President, Chief Executive Officer & Metryx co-founder

Before joining Metryx, Adrian held senior positions at Lam Research Corporation and Trikon Technologies. During his 20 year career, Adrian has published over 40 papers in the field of semiconductors and holds a number of patents specifically pioneering low k CVD. Adrian is a recognised expert on semiconductor technology and has served as the Co-Chair for the Etch Sub-TWG on the ITRS roadmap. His qualifications include a Bachelors degree with honours in physics and a PhD in Plasma Physics. He holds Chartered status in both engineering and Science and is a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and also a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.
 
ROB WILBY - Chief Operating Officer & Metryx co-founder
Rob has 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry and has worked with many of the leading semiconductor chip manufacturers to enhance equipment performance and productivity. Rob graduated from Cambridge University, Emmanuel College with an honours degree in Natural Sciences. During his career, he has published numerous papers on semiconductor processing and hardware and holds many patents in semiconductor and semiconductor related engineering.
   
DR. ALISTAIR SMITH - Chairman

As well as being chairman of Metryx, Alistair is the Chairman of Oxford Diffraction Ltd, a venture capital backed company involved in the development and supply of XRD equipment, a Non Executive Director of two other technology based companies, and sits on the Investment committee of E-Synergy, an early phase VC group. From 1988 to 2000 Alistair was an Executive Director of Oxford Instruments plc responsible for the Semiconductor Systems Division, and before that was Managing Director of various divisions of VG Instruments (now Thermo Corp). He has a PhD in physics and is on the external advisory panels for a number of UK universities.
